As a Co-Founder of the organization, I am dedicated to driving strategic growth, strengthening merchandising operations, and ensuring the effective execution of our business objectives within the global apparel and clothing industry. I actively contribute to planning, coordination, and operational oversight to translate strategic goals into measurable results and sustainable business expansion.
Since beginning my professional career in 2004, I have gained of experience in merchandising for both knit and woven garments, developing strong expertise in the full apparel business cycle, including sourcing, product development, costing, production planning, commercial operations, export documentation, and shipment management.
Currently serving as Manager – Merchandising, I have previously held senior merchandising roles in reputed organizations, where I gained strong hands-on experience in handling buyers independently, price negotiation, vendor sourcing, fabric and yarn procurement, and factory coordination. My professional journey has enabled me to build deep expertise in both knit and woven divisions, ensuring smooth workflow from order confirmation to final shipment.
I am highly experienced in buyer correspondence, costing and consumption analysis, initial budgeting, and order approval processes. My responsibilities also include distributing tasks among team members, supervising merchandising activities, conducting factory evaluations, visiting production units for updates, and ensuring all bookings of fabrics and trims are completed accurately and on time. Additionally, I regularly prepare weekly production and shipment status reports for buyers and management to maintain transparency and operational efficiency.
Throughout my career, I have worked with a wide range of international buyers from Europe, the UK, Australia, and Russia, which has strengthened my global communication skills, commercial understanding, and compliance awareness. I have strong expertise in merchandising, commercial operations, banking procedures, export documentation, shipping coordination, and forwarder management.
Beyond merchandising operations, I am also involved in order sourcing, marketing, product development, and continuous follow-up with factory management and cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery and quality compliance. I possess strong organizational skills, excellent public relations capabilities, and the ability to work effectively in team environments for long-term projects.
Academically, I have completed my Post Graduation under Islamic University, and I am proficient in computer applications including MS Office, email communication, and internet-based documentation systems. I am fluent in both Bengali and English (written and spoken), which supports effective communication with international clients and stakeholders.
